Back
Wed, Oct 29th, 2014

As surprising as it may sound every year in America over 90% of all Pneumococcal Disease cases are in adults.  Pneumococcal Disease is most common in adults over age 65.  Pneumococcal Meningitis can cause hearing loss, seizures, blindness, and paralysis. Concurrent cardiac events are common among patients hospitalized with Pneumococcal Pneumonia.  You can help prevent our residents from getting this very dangerous disease by getting vaccinated.  Please help us prevent the spread of Pneumococcal Disease to our residents and your loved ones.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank You, Here it is Thanksgiving season again, and I'm joining hundreds of others thanking GOD for our great country, home and families. When my health started failing me doctor John Roberts (who has been my doctor for over 30 years) suggested that I make my home in a facility where I could have professional care. I naturally chose Riverways Manor Nursing Home where I have had the best care. So I'm sending a special Thank You to the Administrator Beverly Bonney and staff for the love and care that they have given all the residents. It surely takes special people to care for all of us as you do. So Thanks again Beverly and staff for sharing your home. We all love you and wish you all Happy Holidays.
