Pneumococcal Disease: Vaccination and Prevention

Wed, Oct 29th, 2014

As surprising as it may sound every year in America over 90% of all Pneumococcal Disease cases are in adults.  Pneumococcal Disease is most common in adults over age 65.  Pneumococcal Meningitis can cause hearing loss, seizures, blindness, and paralysis. Concurrent cardiac events are common among patients hospitalized with Pneumococcal Pneumonia.  You can help prevent our residents from getting this very dangerous disease by getting vaccinated.  Please help us prevent the spread of Pneumococcal Disease to our residents and your loved ones.

Thank you for your cooperation.

On behalf of the Browning Family, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff for the care given to our beloved Mitzie during her time at Riverways Manor.

The Love that was shown to us was truly remarkable, we felt like family, and it made the past 6 months a pleasant experience.

We will never forget the genuine love shown to all of us and especially to Mitzie, and we will cherish each one of you in our hearts.

May GOD Bless You!!!
